Alex and Alia's Wedding

I had the opportunity to photograph my first wedding. It was my brother-in-law's so what better way than to practice on family! I learned a lot on this shoot, mainly that I don't want to be primarily a wedding photographer, but also that I still have a long way to go! Weddings are tough to shoot because there are a lot of people to work with and around (with the added bonus that they all want their own picture with their own camera), there's a lot of must-have pictures that only happen once, and weddings last ALL day. I like family pictures because I can show up for an hour and call it good, maybe even get the edited photos to them the next day. Weddings take a smidge longer than that. :) But I think my biggest problem is that I just need to try again. It was my first time so I'm not going to axe weddings altogether, but I'll probably just charge a ridiculous amount to discourage people! So without further ado... the lovely couple.

The get-a-way car, how cool is that?!
These ones look like they should be in a car magazine, in my humble opinion. :)
I think this next one is my fav, well at least one of them.
This next one crack me up! Instead of delicately resting their hands on the doorknob of the temple or on a bouquet of flowers, it's on the steering wheel of a Corvette!

Absolutely amazing! Jenny you are a wonderful photographer. I am impressed! Love the picture of the rings, too. I like how you have black and whites, too. I would be happy with these pictures! :)

Oh my! This photoshoot is outstanding. I have saved it because I am going to click pictures for my best friend’s wedding. Yes, we are planning to save money on that because she has picked up one of the finest wedding venues Los Angeles for her day.
